This is "Bounty." She's too big and needs more work than I can do. But, oh what character.

She could provide some comfortable sailing and your imagination could run wild when you walk these decks.

"Brushfire" has more modern lines. Other than being a sailboat, she has little in commom

with the coastal schooner "Silver Heels." Still, she is made of wood, she has a graceful sheer and would

be easier to sail than "Silver Heels." There's alot of varnish to do, but it's easier to varnish a large flat surface

than the multitude of half rounds, rails , masts, booms and nubbons that were all over the old coastal schooner.

The machine age has come to the sailor's ways. With winches like this even an old man can get the main up.
