Port Authority Dock at Sooke Harbor is a resting place for the fishing fleet.

They make room for yachties because they pay more per foot per day.

It was a friendly harbor. Locals caught legal sized crab right under the dock.

After the aborted attempt to go to Barclay Sound, we moved

inside to the "Sunshine Coast". This, Pender Harbor , is

well protected from the seas of Malaspina Straight.
