This setting is extraordinary - quiet, beautiful and away from civilization.

The postmistress's house and Canadian post office. The inlet is in the background

where the float plane arrives on Wednesdays with the mail.

The floating community of Sullivan Bay. Interconnecting walkways have street signs - with some added postings.

It's a fairly good re-provisioning stop providing diesel fuel, water, propane,

some fresh vegetables, frozen meats, liquor, books, some hardware and a restaurant.
