JULY 21, 1999

A sunny day under power on course to Castine. Sarah reading.

Spectacle Islands in the distance.

Sarah, Ellen and Terry in front of the Sisters Restaurant, Little Deer Isle, ME.

Lobsters with drawn butter are the house speciality, but we had caesar salad.

This is a view of "Silver Heels" main cabin. The walnut desk to the right holds charts, books

and the lap top computer - in a drawer. The mainmast can be seen in the center of the picture.

The dining table is in the foreground. The small door to the left of the mast has a mirror. That door leads to the engine room and is

only about 4 feet high. To get to the head you must crouch and go through this door, then

through the engine room and into the head.

The alternate route is aft through the galley, up the companionway to the deck,

forward to the forward hatch, down the companionway to the forward cabin, turn around

and into the head. This cabin is about eleven feet wide and opens to the galley toward the after side.
