"Lulu" and "Jasper" are my daughter's two dogs. Sarah drove to Victoria with the dogs to visit for awhile, then she left to continue

work in the Bay Area ..... leaving the two dogs aboard the boat with us. Ordinarily, they are well behaved with

two exceptions. (1) "Lulu" is a hearding border collie, and when she gets loose, she tries to "round-up" bystanders in the parking lot.

(2) "Jasper" forever hopes to sink her teeth into one of the five sea otters that live along the seawall.

The empty Wharf B, where we are. The Canadian Parliament buildings show in the background and two turboprop float planes

are center right. They, the planes, depart and approach overhead all day long flying to the outer islands. I think the little white sailboat

center left is impounded for nonpayment of dock fees. It's too expensive here for the Canadian boater, too cold for US cruisers.
