A moderate size "summer cottage" overlooking the Bagaduce River near Castine.

Dennet's Wharf at Castine. Your typical clam, lobster, fries, water's edge restaurant.

They also rent bicycles and kayaks.

"Silver Heels" at a mooring on the far side of the Bagaduce River. Although a "far row" from

town, this was a nice anchorage.

Another moderate size summer "cottage" overlooking Castine and the harbor. Some of these

places are pristine and are well maintained. The best are inconspicuous, have a long driveway and can't be

seen from the road. We see them from the water side peeking out from the trees. Like this one,

some need paint, are somewhat run down,

have dry rot and, I think, would be headache to own.
