Page One

The weather in Sequoia National Park , after the bear visits, quickly changed

from a warm, sunny 86 degrees to rain then to snow. We decided to leave Sequoia this morning

and head to Yosemite. Ellen snapped this as I was thinking about maybe getting a house again. Note the steel

bear box off my right shoulder. This camp site was a bear highway with bear number 34 and

bear number C99 making regualar passes.

 

Ahhh. My church. I took this picture from Dewey Point showing

Clouds Rest, Half Dome, North Dome , Tenaya Canyon and the Valley Floor. Dewey point is a 10.2 mile

hike from the Glacier Point Road trailhead and worth all the sore muscles. We saw not

a single person on this hike.
